How to Find a Bibliotherapy Book at CSU by Topic

Step 1: Choose a Topic

Select a Bibliotherapy topic, here are some examples:

  • adoption and foster care
  • parental alcoholism and drug abuse
  • bullying
  • death and dying
  • disabilities and handicaps
  • divorce, separation and stepfamilies
  • domestic violence
  • nutrition and healthy eating
  • self-esteem
  • eating disorders

Step 2: Check the CSU Library Website

When visiting the CSU Library website to see what books we have on the chosen topic, choose to search the Classic Catalog:

Type in the Topic you have chosen in the subject box and if you are looking for a Children's book select "Juvenile" for the location:

The Search Results will return a list of books that the CSU Library has on that topic:

Step 3: Select a Book from the Search Results

Click on the book title in the Search Results:

Step 4: Find the Book

View the information about the book, including where to find it in the CSU Library:
