Avoiding Plagiarism

Summary

1. There is no reason that excuses plagiarism
2. Common Knowledge does not need to be cited
3. If you quote, paraphrase, or summarize you must include citations both in-text and in your bibliography
4. Your professor should tell you which citation style to use
5. When in doubt, ASK!
