Answers to frequently asked questions about the L. Mendel Rivers Library

Where are the printers in the library?

Four black and white printers, along with two color printers, can be found on the main level of the library.

How do I pay for printing or copying at the library?

CSU Students who are currently enrolled in classes can log in to print from any computer in the library or at the copier

  • Username – CSU student Id
  • Password – Birthdate in MM/DD/YYYY format. (include the /)

Cost of printing is $0.05/page for black and white, and $0.25/page for color, which automatically comes off your print account

*** Guest and community printing is not available.

 

How can I add money to my print account?

Where can I print in color?

Color printers are located on the main floor of the library. Students will have 25 cents deducted from their print account for each page printed. Visitors should stop by the Questions Desk for help with color printing.

 

Can I print from my laptop?

While you can't print directly from your laptop, you do have two options..

1) Email the document to yourself and then print the document from a library computer on the main level or the BILT Center.

2) Save your document to a USB flash drive, and then insert the drive into a library computer on the main level or the BILT Center and print your document.

 

 

Does the library have a scanner?

We have a flatbed digital scanner workstation on the main level, which may be used free of charge to make digital copies.
