What Is OneSearch?

Looking for a book title in OneSearch?

1) Let's say you're looking for the book titled Mere Christianity

Type the title into the OneSearch box and click Search 

2) On the following screen, look for results that indicate Available at L. Mendel Rivers Library Circulating Collection. That means we have the book on our shelf on the upper level of the library. The number after that is the call number, or the "address" where you can find the book on the shelf.

• If the book is listed as Reference Room, it's available on the main level of the library - these books however must stay in the library
• You can also click on the checkbox next to Circulating Collection on the left and then 'Apply Filters' to limit the search.
• If the book is listed as Circulation Storage, you can ask a library staff member for assistance in retrieving the book

Once the book has been retrieved, it can be taken to the Circulation Desk to be checked out.
