Do I have checkout privileges at other libraries?
Yes. CSU is a member of PASCAL, the statewide academic consortium, which provides checkout privileges at most of the college and university libraries in the state. You may request books directly from other South Carolina academic libraries through PASCAL. Books are delivered to campus five days a week by a statewide courier service and may be picked up at the CSU Library.
You also have walk-in checkout privileges, using your CSU student ID card, at the PASCAL member libraries in the state, including these local academic libraries: The Citadel, College of Charleston, Trident Technical College, and the Medical University of South Carolina. You may designate another member library as your pick-up point through the PASCAL web page.
Articles that are not available through CSU’s online databases cannot be requested through PASCAL but require the submission of an Interlibrary Loan request form.
