APA PsycINFO
The PsycINFO , database, American Psychological Association’s (APA) renowned resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. It contains approximately 3 million citations and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s with DOIs for over 1.4 million records. Journal coverage, which spans from the 1800s to present, includes international material selected from around 2,400 periodicals in dozens of languages.
APA PsycTESTS
PsycTESTS serves as a repository for the full text of psychological tests and measures, as well as a rich source of structured information about the tests. A wide variety of test types are included in the database, including achievement and aptitude tests, intelligence tests, tests of cognitive functioning, occupational tests, personality tests, and so on. In-depth indexing of the tests and related information allows users to quickly identify the availability of tests in a certain area and to find helpful information for research and studies.

ERIC
This database contains records from ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) and full text documents from EBSCO. Includes dissertations and theses. Access provided by DISCUS
Professional Development Collection
Designed for professional educators, this database provides a collection of education journals. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports. Access provided by DISCUS
Teacher Reference Center
Provides indexing and abstracts, with some full text, for 280 of the most popular teacher and administrator journals and magazines to assist professional educators. Access provided by DISCUS
Business Source Complete
Business Source Complete is the world's definitive scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. In addition, searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals. Access provided by PASCAL
Academic Search Complete
Academic Search Complete is a scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,300 journals and a total of 9,810 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. Access provided by PASCAL

Dissertation Collections

OATD (Open Access ETD portal )
Provides links to dissertations and theses published as open access and located in the institutional repository for the university which granted the degree or in ProQuest's PQDT Open database. Search results can be limited by degree or level.
Open Dissertations (EBSCO)
Provides links to dissertations and theses published as open access and located in the institutional repository for the university which granted the degree. Although there is no way to limit to Ph.D. dissertations, include the search term "dissertation" as many records include that term in the abstract or somewhere in the record. IGNORE THE "CHECK FOR FULL TEXT" OR INTERLIBRARY LOAN LINKS ON THE RECORD, AND INSTEAD, OPEN THE FULL RECORD DISPLAY AND LOOK FOR A URL TO CONNECT TO THE INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY WHICH HAS THE FULLTEXT.
PQDT Open (ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Open)
Provides the full text for dissertations and theses published as open access and submitted to ProQuest. Although there is no way to limit to Ph.D. dissertations, include the search term "dissertation" as many records include that term in the abstract or somewhere in the record.
WorldCat Dissertations and Theses
Indexes all dissertations and theses which have been cataloged by OCLC member libraries worldwide. Some entries will include links to electronic full text versions available at the institution. If an electronic version is not available, note that very few libraries will loan print copies of dissertations or theses via InterLibrary Loan.

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.
Google Books
"Book Search works just like web search. Try a search on Google Books or on Google.com. When we find a book with content that contains a match for your search terms, we'll link to it in your search results."

Some books are available in Preview mode to browse, though all pages are not typically available.
PASCAL
PASCAL Delivers is a rapid book-delivery service provided by the Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Libraries which enables students, faculty and staff across the state to request and receive books from academic libraries in South Carolina. Over 12 million items are available in the catalog and books usually arrive within a few days. Full text access from anywhere to over 290,000 PASCAL provided e-books is also available right from the PASCAL Delivers catalog.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Current Charleston Southern University students, faculty, and staff may borrow materials not owned by the CSU Library from other libraries using InterLibrary Loan (ILL).

If distance prevents a student from using library materials on campus, circulating materials from CSU’s print collection may be mailed to off-site students with a return address label. The student is responsible for return postage. Subject to copyright limitations, journal articles or a book chapter available in the CSU Library’s print collection may be scanned and sent to off-site students electronically.
