DOWNLOAD FOR OFFLINE USE
- Active Internet connection and web browser is required to download the ebook but not to read it later
- Install either Adobe Digital Editions or the Bluefire Reader app before downloading the ebook
- Ebooks are borrowed for two weeks. Download again if needed longer.
- May require a CSU Library login on and off campus
- Login instructions are on the login page and are the same as what is used for off campus access to library databases

- Get Adobe Digital Editions free from adobe.com
- If you have trouble installing ADE, see this Help note from Adobe
- An Adobe ID is not needed to use Adobe Digital Editions on a computer but is required to transfer ebooks from the computer to another device or to register a mobile app
- Go to adobe.com
- click Sign In in the upper right
- click Get an Adobe ID and follow the instructions to register

- Need Bluefire Reader app (free) download
- Need an Adobe ID (free) to register the Bluefire Reader app (see above)
- KINDLES
- Save chapter or selected pages as a PDF on a computer. See instructions under Chapter Download
- Connect to the computer and transfer to the Kindle, OR use Amazon's Send to Kindle option
- OTHER EREADERS, including Nook and Sony Reader
- Download to Adobe Digital Editions on a computer or laptop (see above)
- Connect to the computer and transfer to the device (free Adobe ID required, see above)
